Meet Sidney Suggett, a high school junior at Cle Elum-Roslyn High School! This summer, Sidney will be joining our Summer Study Spanish & Intern in Spain program! She will be spending 5 weeks to improving her Spanish language skills while interning at a Spanish company. We look forward to welcoming her in A Coruña, Spain!
Tell us more about you. “Hi, I’m Sid. I’m 17, from Everett, Washington. I am entering my senior year of high school this fall. I have been taking Spanish classes since 8th grade. My freshman year of high school is when I had a teacher who really taught me to love learning the language and culture.”
What is your main motivation for participating in the program? “Spain is a huge bucket list place for me. I am so excited to continue learning Spanish, and improving on what I already know. I also am so excited to be interning this summer, and can’t wait for this great opportunity!”
What organizations are you involved in on campus? “At my high school I am actively involved in choir, theater, and was even on the competitive dance team. I also have been involved in spirit club, Educators Rising Club, and ASB.”
What are you most looking forward to? I am so excited to meet everyone this summer, and can’t wait for the great experience I hope to take away from this amazing opportunity!!
