Meet Jamario Fluker from the University of Alabama in Birmingham! This summer, Jamario will be joining our ten week Summer Study Spanish & Intern in Spain program. He loves the Spanish culture, people, and language. Jamario looks forward to challenging himself to learn the language as well as immersing himself into Spanish society.
What motivated you to choose Spain?
I chose Spain as my study abroad destination because of the culture, language, and beautiful scenery.
What organizations are you involved in on campus?
I am involved in the Air Force ROTC program at my university.
What are your future career goals?
My future career goal is to conduct international hospitality work and become a successful business owner.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment is being the first in my family to visit more than 10 countries.
What are some of the places/things on your bucket list?
A place on my bucket list that I would love to visit is Egypt.
