Josi Hill, Loyola University in New Orleans
Major: Psychology Minor: Public Relations
Hometown: Jackson, Mississippi, USA
This summer, Josi will be joining our two week long Nutrition & Natural Medicine program in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Peru! We look forward to welcoming her!
What motivated you to apply for this program?
“I am very interested in natural medicine and non-traditional healing methods. Western medicine, in my opinion, is not the most beneficial way to stay healthy. I like looking into more holistic methods.”
What motivated you to choose Peru?
“I find Peruvian culture very intriguing to me and I can’t wait to learn more about it. Seeing the Sacred Valley of the Incas has always been on my bucket list.”
What are your future career goals?
“I hope to become a licensed therapist and own my own yoga studio.”
What are some of the places/things on your bucket list?
“I have always wanted to buy a motorcycle to travel across the country in.”
What is your proudest accomplishment?
“I think my proudest accomplishment is my attitude to always do things that scare me. I try to live everyday with the idea that pushing myself and trying new things is what life is all about. If you don’t take chances, then what are you doing?”
What is your favorite quote? “You know you got it if it makes you feel good.” – Janis Joplin
